PG200N Spectral PAR Meter

The PG200N is a Spectral PAR meter used to measure the quantity and quality of light for a new generation of indoor farmers who use artificial lighting as a substitute or complement to sunlight.
Light is formless and hard to measure. And yet, as an indoor farmer, it’s a crucial to get your lighting right; quantity, intensity, color and duration (diurnal and seasonal rhythms). These are the data components of sunlight that are the challenges of artificial lighting to emulate.
A PAR meter can provide you reliable measurement with comprehensive data tools to help you collect, analyze, and evaluate light data to help you understand your light-to-plant relationship and assist you in making better decisions for your business.
Next-Gen Farmer – Data Analytics
PG200N is focused on data:
Conforms to JIS (Japan) and DIN (Germany) industry standards
Ergonomic Design for collecting data in a farming environment
Tools for numerical and spectral representation of plant-light relationships.
Powerful Comparative Analytics
Seamless connectivity to other digital media and software
PG200N conforms to data measurement standards for precision and consistency.
PG200N Directional Reponse is compliant with:
JIS C 1609-1:2006 (Japan) Class AA
DIN 5032 Part 7 Class B (Germany)
These standards ensure that your data is accurate, consistent and comparable with the majority of Important organizations from around the world.
Ergonomic design for steady capture and accurate data measurement
The PG200N is equipped with a detachable, cabled head sensor that can reach under inconvenient positions under shelving.
Subtle hand movements during capture can distort data. PG200N has a built in G-sensor (gravity motion sensor) to stabilize the capture to avoid any sensor rotation (axial shifts) that can present as inaccuracies in the data.
The sensor head is also level-IP66 waterproof and dustproof to further avoid distorted data in wet, humid conditions.
Power of Comparative Data Analytics
Light and color are very subjective and it’s hard to assess your situations just by looking at numbers. The PG200N is designed with comparative analytics allowing you side by side comparisons, which helps you evaluate data more objectively.
Sunlight, Seasons, Environment Data
Most plants have evolved to adapt to very specific conditions and it’s much more than sun, water and soil. PG200N provides features that help you monitor and provide metrics to gauge the overall conditions, including seasonal changes in light (PSS) and also temperature and humidity (Thermo-Hygro Cable).
Customizing color wavelength ranges for different classification of plants.
Different plants are sensitive to different ranges of wavelengths (color). The PG200N allows you to customize those color ranges so you can measure PFD, PPFD as it pertains to wavelength ranges for individual plant classifications.
