Cables
Transmission lines are special cables or other structures in electronic engineering used to transmit AC currents at radio frequencies. That is to say, when the frequency of the currents reaches a certain level, their wave properties must be considered. Transmission lines are commonly used to connect transmitter and receiver antennas, transmit cable television signals, relay routing calls between telecommunications switching centers, computer network connections, and high-speed computer data buses.
